I wouldn't use crazy glue because that crap is bad for your cuticles. What top coat to apply on nails before applying rhinestone's?
You could use nail glue but that stuff always leaves my nails a mess afterwards. I use rhinestones a lot on my nails and i tend to use a clear nail varnish. It's worked fine for me so far (: However if you want the rhinestones on for a while (for me its more than a week) then i would recommend glue as it is stronger and will probably keep them on longer (im not 100% sure though cos i get bored quickly and change gems often so have never needed to use gluee ) =D
What I do is, I apply the topcoat and wait for it to dry very well (about 30-40 minutes), then apply the stones with NAIL glue. Not super glue, because super glue is harmful to your skin and it can melt the silver plating on the rhinestone so it wont shine very well.

I highly discourage using glue-on artificial nails. They not only look bad, but if you have any air bubbles underneath the nail and moisture gets trapped in, you could get fungus.
you can use nail glue.

but just the wet nail polish would work pretty well.
