I am getting french tips...my nails are extremely short, so short that there is only a little nail?

can I still get them? what is the difference between acrylics and french tips?I am getting french tips...my nails are extremely short, so short that there is only a little nail?
Yea, acrylic is a type of plastic. If you get them, they're glued on super tight so if you chip your nail or anything, it's just like ripping your actual nail off with it. Get them if you don't play sports or anything?

French tips are when you only colour the tips of your nails. :D And yes, you can still get them with short nails.

yes you can. There is no difference between acrylics and french tips, french tips is where the free edge of the nail is a different colour.

Please go and see a technician that will willingly show you their certificates, state licence etc etc, please dont go somewhere where the price is too good to be true.

Acrylic and gel are the same chemical makeup just in different forms. So gel nails are just as fake as acrylics.
Acrylic are fake, stay away from them. French tips are the design. Yes, you can get tips with short nails, they just do the white part farther down then with longer nails. If you're looking into acrylic, i would recommended getting UV gel. Its basically a really thick polish that sets, almost plastic(y), but its your real nail vs an actual piece of plastic (acrylic)

uhh, Yes there is, they are way different.
When i got my nails done for the first time they were really short i only had a little bit of a white tip and i think that's all you need really (but it is easier for them to do if you have a longer white tip)

But just to warn you (if this is your first time) when they pushed my cuticles back some nails did start to bleed a bit but that doesn't mean it will happen to everyone, but lucky for me that was the only time i had them done as my real nails grew underneath which is the reason why i had fake nails done in the first place.
