How do you get acrylic nails off with out going to the salon?

i need to get my acrylic nails off that i had on for prom. i heard about leaving them in acitone nail varnish remover but ive got a cut on one of my fingers and it will kil if i put it in the nail varnish remover....please helpHow do you get acrylic nails off with out going to the salon?

Fill up a bucket or your sink with warm water.


Then place your hands in there for about 5 minutes.


Yeah, and the acetone nail varnish WILL kill your fingers so don't do it.


After about 5 minutes you should be able to peel back the acrylic nails a bit.
